Medical & Dental Mission
C.A.R.E., Philippines, aware that the poor have difficult access to medical care and free public health services, included in its ministry free medical/dental missions which are periodically held in the poor communities.
This is done through networking with doctors, dentists, and nurses who volunteer their services during the days when they are not working in their clinics or hospitals. Most often we network with medical mission teams or organizations, local and from the United States to conduct medical clinics in the poor communities.
Rondalla & Angklung Ensemble
The C.A.R.E., Philippines’ Students’ Rondalla was born in 2005 as the music ministry of C.A.R.E., Philippines (Christian Action for Reconciliation & Evangelism, Philippines). It aims to develop the students’ godly character and musical competence. The group has performed over a hundred times in various occasions in Metro Manila and nearby provinces. They had traveled abroad to perform in different churches like St. Andrews Presbyterian Church in Newport Beach and Vanguard University of Southern California. They also played in private homes and local churches like Union Church of Manila, United Evangelical Church of Malabon, and others.
Angklung Ensemble is composed of younger kids from the neighboring public schools, who are taught weekly the Word of God and the rudiments of band music with emphasis on christian hymns and Filipino classical music.
